Bart B. Musial, MD received his undergraduate education from the Manhattan College in Bronx, New York (graduating Summa Cum Laude) and his medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, in Brooklyn, New York in 1984.
Dr. Musial trained at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1987. He then completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida in 1991 and was awarded the Martin Stein Memorial Award for superior performance as a Cardiology Fellow. An additional 4 th year Interventional Cardiology Fellowship was finished at the University of Miami.
During completion of his post-graduate training, Dr. Musial served as a Critical Care Physician at the Miami Heart Institute and ER Physician at Hollywood Medical Center and Memorial Regional Hospital before joining Cardiology Associates of Fort Lauderdale in 1991. He is currently serving as the Medical Director of the Heart Lab at Holy Cross Hospital.
Dr. Musial is Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He recently obtained Level 3 certification in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Musial is a member of various professional organizations and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Musial has published numerous medical papers in peer-review journals and has remained active in clinical research. He has received several achievement awards and has been recognized by various institutions. He also serves on various hospital committees at Holy Cross Hospital. His areas of interest include clinical and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Bart Musial was born in New York and has been a Florida resident since 1987. He is married and has 3 children.
