Pablo A. Guzman, M.D.

Pablo A. Guzman, MD received his undergraduate education from St. Peters College in Jersey City, NJ and then obtained his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1975 and continued his education there to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship training in Cardiology, with specialization in heart catheterizations, at The John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland and also served as Assistant Director of their Cath Lab.

Following completion of his post-graduate training, Dr. Guzman practiced Cardiology in West Broward County before joining Cardiology Associates of Fort Lauderdale in 1998. In addition, Dr. Guzman served as the Chief of Cardiology at North Ridge Medical Center, Director of Interventional Cardiology for the North Broward Hospital District, and currently serves as the Director of the CT Anglo Program at Cardiology Associates of Fort Lauderdale. In addition, Dr. Guzman has participated in numerous research investigations with special emphasis on ventricular function.

Dr. Guzman is Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He recently obtained his Level 1 and 2 certification in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Guzman is a member of various professional organizations and is presently a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
